Starting in the post-pandemic era, I began keeping good records of who attended our events and how they did over time. Most years, there have been 70+ people who attend at least one tournament, for the sake of sanity the results listing only includes people who attend a cutoff threshold for a given year. Player of the Year is based on who has the most “wins-losses”, and so rewards players for both attendance and good performance. In case of a tie, total matches played is the tie-breaker. As club director, I consider myself ineligible for Player of the Year, as I have an unfair advantage on attendance. Player of the Year awards began in 2022. Club Men’s and Women’s Championship events began in 2023.
